David and Goliath
The Philistine giant also said to David, "Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the beasts of the field." Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. 46"This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel:
1 Samuel 17:44-45
The Lord woke me one night in the 90's and asked me, "Who will defend My honor against the giant?" After searching my heart, I finally said, "With Your help, Lord, I will." Soon afterward, I learned, like David, to put my own stones/rocks in my sling and got victory easily through that. Hmm, I wonder if those are the rocks that will cry out if we don't praise Him? The rocks/stones are Scripture Verses from His Word. I encourage you to get and use yours! "Thanks be unto GOD Who always causes us to triumph through (His Word,) the Lord Jesus Christ."
