Shine On
You are already free from what you're asking GOD to free you from, IF you have been born-again. 2 Corinthians 3:17,18 "Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (freedom). But we all, with unveiled face, looking as in a mirror and seeing the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory just as by the Spirit of the Lord." Go look in the mirror, but look beyond yourself. If you have been born-again, smile as you look at yourself, and see the glory of GOD all over you. Just think, He is taking you from glory to glory today; from faith to faith. People are hearing and seeing Jesus Himself in you. When you speak truth, Jesus is the "Truth" and He's shining through you. When you walk in love in your thoughts, you're walking in the light, and Jesus is that Light. When you correct someone in the spirit of meekness, Jesus is that Reprover. When you obey His leading instead of walking in the flesh to please yourself by pleasing others, you are humbling yourself to "become obedient to the point of death; even the death of the Cross" just like Jesus did in Philippians 2. GOD is well pleased with you for that; so shine on my Brother, my Sister, so those in darkness will be drawn to that light. "The fruit of the righteous is a Tree of Life, and he who wins souls is wise." Stop thinking you don't measure up. Jesus is the One GOD is measuring, so let Him be GOD in you and increase as you decrease and Him be big in you. Hallelujah!
