You Belong and You Matter!

DAWN CRONK GWIN - MARCH 24, 2016
Have you ever been told, “GOD has a big plan and purpose for your life?” He does. If you’ve ever wondered where you belong, or even if you do belong anywhere, this will answer your questions: yes, you do! Yesterday I made a wonderful discovery all over the Bible that started in Psalm 24:1,2 The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell in there. (You belong…. You belong to The Lord; you are His Very Own.)  For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters.
The Lord has called us to a “high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What does that mean?
Psalm 100:3 For we are His people, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His Hand.
1 John 4:4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
Romans 14:7-9 For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. (with Jesus’ Life). Therefore, honor God with your bodies.
You are valuable and important to GOD. He let us know through David in Psalm 139:17 “How precious also are Your thoughts toward me, O GOD!” (imagine that, yet it’s true.) “How great is the number of them!”  In John 15:16 Jesus said, "You have not chosen Me, but I chose YOU, and have given you an assignment, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He may give you.
I Samuel 3: 1-10 Let us be like Samuel who humbled himself and said, “Speak Lord, for Your servant is listening.”
